Youth Strength and Conditioning
THE WORLD OF HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS HAS CHANGED – SO HAS TRAINING AND RECOVERY
Basic motor skills are often ignored by less experienced training facilities. At TITAN, we understand athletes are not machines built in a factory or large group settings. Each training program must be tailored to the specific needs of each athlete to include their skill set, neuromuscular response, and biomechanical function.
TITAN’s programming is called AIM. It stands for Athletes in Motion. It brings the same methodology and treatment protocols we use with our collegiate and professional athletes. AIM prepares today’s youth for the next level, by teaching them to get the most out of their body by increasing their strength, endurance, flexibility and nutrition – leading to increased productivity and decreased injury. Our program meets the needs of any caliber athlete.
TITAN’S AIM program for Youth Strength & Conditioning focuses on:
- FLEXIBILITY
- CORE STABILIZATION
- BALANCE & PROPRIOCEPTION
- POWER ENDURANCE

The programming of functional rehabilitation exercises for corrective or therapeutic benefit involves a specific series of movements custom-designed to meet each patient’s specific needs based on their injury and biomechanical assessment. SOFT TISSUE TECHNIQUES
Muscle Release Therapy
During these manual therapy treatments, a provider uses their hands with precise tension and specific movements to relieve tissue tension, restore full range of motion, and break up fibrosis/adhesions. This is an effective form of treatment for muscle, fascia, tendon, nerve, and ligament injuries.
IASTM
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a manual therapy technique in which clinicians utilize stainless steel instruments to effectively and efficiently treat areas exhibiting soft tissue dysfunction, fibrosis, or chronic inflammation. IASTM addresses scar tissue and facial restrictions while encouraging increased blood flow to the muscles, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
Cupping
Cupping therapy or myofascial decompression is a form of soft tissue treatment which involves the specific placement of silicone or glass cups on the skin to create a suction. Cupping is used for the treatment of adhesions/scar tissue, trigger points, and restricted myofascial lines of improvement. This is accomplished by decompressing the affected myofascial tissues, reducing inflammation, increasing blood flow, increasing nutrient exchange, and subsequently providing pain relief and return to function.
Biomechanical Taping
Rocktape is a revolutionary new type of therapeutic kinesiology taping product designed to aid in the treatment and healing of various sports injuries, as well as improve physical performance. Common problems that can be addressed using Rocktape Kinesiology Taping include:
- Ankle sprains
- Achilles tendonitis
- Golfer’s elbow
- Shin splints
- Low back disorders
- Rotator cuff problems
- Plantar fasciitis
- Swollen ankles
- Tennis elbow
- Calf strains
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
We like to call Rocktape the duct tape of the human body because it is so versatile. It can be used to compress or decompress an area, depending on its application. It can be used to promote blood flow, or it can be used to help drain swelling. It can be used to decrease pain, but can also be used to increase your awareness of a specific area that needs attention. Depending on its application, it can also be used to activate or deactivate a muscle group to enhance performance or decrease risk of injury.
Because of its versatility and unique design (in comparison to other kinesiology tapes), Rocktape is used for a wide variety of applications. Rocktape was built with the athlete in mind. Rocktape not only works wonders for injuries but also assists in coordination and movement. For instance, when athletes start to fatigue, they break form. Once form is less than optimal, so is performance because form and function are interconnected and co-dependent.
Drop Release
Years of treating athletes led to the development of the Drop Release Instrument. Fast stretch technology allows instant loosening of tight muscles. Now great, effective soft issues work can be performed in any treatment session without straining a full schedule.
