Dr. Tara Finkstein-Roos, DC

Dr. Tara was an avid participant in sports growing up. Her love of sports and the human body led to over ten years of undergraduate and graduate education, studying the human body and biomechanics related to sports performance and athletic injuries. She attended the University of Iowa and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Logan University.

Because of her extensive clinical experience in sports and rehabilitation over the last 23 years, Dr. Tara’s knowledge and expertise has been sought after by the most elite professional athletes from six different NFL teams, two MLB teams, Olympic athletes, IronMan Triathletes, APFL, and Minor League Soccer. She has been the Team Doctor for the Denver Titans Arena Football League and Colorado Lightening. Dr. Tara has received various awards including the Award in Excellence while in Denver and America’s Top Chiropractor Award for 2010, 2011, and 2012, and Top Doctor 2016, 2022, 2023, and 2020 Top Women in Medicine recognition. 2023 Iowa’s Top Doctor Award.

Currently, Dr. Tara enjoys being a part of the community and focusing on sports and family health. She specializes in shoulder, knees, hips, foot pain, and headaches. She is still passionate about sports injuries and loves working area high schools and colleges throughout Central Iowa.

In her spare time, she and Robert enjoy spending time with their dogs, hiking, and sitting around the campfire.
